WAV File Replacements

This page was copied from the VGAP Aesthetics site of CHOAM, a few days before it went down. Most of you will know that excellent site - it had a lot of nice BMPs, WAVs and MIDI files to brighten up your ugly and boring life whilst using Winplan.
However the site is down now for at least four months now, and no-one has have heard of CHOAM ever since. His pages are deleted, e-mail messages are not answered and there hasn't been any kind of explanation in the newsgroup.

I copied this page of his site for personal use, but now his homepage is gone and no other site covers the information that's now lost - maybe forever - so I decided to put this little piece of info on my own site. It's quite useful, when you want to replace certain Winplan WAVs. This page is a modified version of his 'AURAL ENHANCMENTS' page - in my own distinct and crude manner I simply deleted all his picts, and the links to his lost files. (Whatever you may think of it: all my BMPs and BMP lists were on his site too.... :-)

Button/Event: Heard when activating the StarChart from any screen/box; also heard when the "Unpack RST(s)" button is pushed from the Game List Screen..

Button/Event: Heard when activating the GameList or any Race; also heard when the "Build" button is pushed on the Beam Weapons Build Screen..

cloak.WAV:

Button/Event: Heard when any cloaking vessel "de-cloaks".

laser.WAV:

Active WinPLAN Location: VCR

Button/Event: Heard when any ship fires a Laser, X-Ray Laser, or Plasma Bolt.

photon1.WAV:

Active WinPLAN Location: Main Screen/ButtonBar, Engine Building Screen

Button/Event: Heard when activating the "Write Message" Screen; also heard when the "Build" button is pushed on the Engine Building Screen.

vscan.WAV:

Active WinPLAN Location: StarChart Control Panel, DeepSpace Visual Scan

Button/Event: Heard when a "scan" is peformed on any vessel; or when a "Mineral Detect" is performed from the StarChart Control Panel; or when the "Sell All But 100 Supplies" button is pushed; or when the "Undo Sell" (supplies) button is pushed.
