Timo's Amorphous Salad
|

With a smile and glance to Tim's Amorphous (shrimp) Soup, I hereby present my very own
Amorphous Salad:

This salad has a very delicate taste. The Surimi and the egg makes it very soft, the apple
adds a bit of sourish freshness, and the spicy onion parts complete the salad. Be carefull
not to add to much onion.
Ingredients:
- 100 grams of Surimi
(Surimi is a Japanese substitute for lobster: small bars of green cod with lobster flavour)
- few slices of a Granny Smith apple
(any green sourish apple will do)
- few onion rings
- a hard boiled egg
(A chicken egg is OK, but if you're a Lizard or Birdmen you might want to use your own egg.)
Recipe:
Cut the Surimi into short strips, and pour it in a small bowl.
Remove the yolk (yellow) from the egg, and cut the remaining egg white into small blocks the
size of the Surimi strips. Add the egg to the Surimi.
Use as much apple as egg. Remove the peel. Cut the apple slices into small blocks like the
egg white. Pour the parts into the bowl.
Cut some onion rings into tiny bits. Taste the salad, and add as much onion to the salad as
you like.
Notes:
You could, of course, use the real thing: real lobster instead of Surimi.
You could add one or two spoons of mayonnaise to the salad.
Enjoy,
Timo
