    I really don't like the pict of the B200 Class Probe and the PL21 Probe: it just looks like - what's the word? - a suppository. Jech! Use one of these picts of NASA's famous space travellers Voyager 2 (or 1) and Pioneer 10 (or 11) instead! (archive).

    Four Colonial Vipers at full speed. The first seems identical to others you can find on the NET but this one is better edited. The second Viper is a shot from the pilot movie of BattleStar Galactica. The fourth and fifth pictures are Vipers being launched from the fighterbay of the Galactica.(archive).

    A Loki and a Diplomacy Class Cruiser: (archive).

    Empire Twin Ion Engine (TIE) fighters: (archive).

    Several shots of Rebel fighters. The first two are a X-Wing fighter speeding over the surface of a Death Star. The fourth is a better edited/scaled copy. The bottom pictures are brandnew pictures of an A-wing fighter, a B(lade)-wing fighter and two Y-wing fighter. (Tip: You might want to use these Y-wing fighters for MBRs...)(archive).

    Yet more Millennium Falcons. The first picture is almost identical to other replacements but this one has more details. The second has a better edited background (the planet on the left.) The fourth and the fifth are two pictures of the same shot, the first one having more background.(archive).

    Nice pictures of the Galatica of the Battlestar Galactica TV series. The first is (again) identical to other BMP replacements you can find on the NET, but this one has an optimised Colour Palette. The second one looks like the picture Tim has used for his Virgo.(archive).

    I've miniaturized these GIFs with a factor two using a quick and dirty hack - this will save you download time by a factor four! The full size BMPs are definitely better and they don't have such nasty background effects as some of these small GIFs have. I had to split the page because of the heavy server load...
    Zipped archives with the full size BMP files are available for each GIF or set of GIFs. Use these lists to get the correct vplXXX.bmp number.

    All of the BMP/GIF pairs have the same resolution - 98% will have 256 colors. (8 bit colour).
    Feel free to use these GIFs/BMPs for whatever you find appropriate.
